Essene Applied Kinesiology (Muscle Testing)
ESSENE KINESIOLOGY OVERVIEW AND THEORY
The first healing technique we teach is applied kinesiology, which is also
called muscle testing. It works because you keep your conscious mind fixed
on your arm or fingers allowing your subconscious mind to take control of those
muscles. What happens is usually a surprise to us, but it normally turns
out to be true.
Essene Kinesiology or Essene Muscle Testing can be
used to determine if any item is helpful or not for the person being tested.
Individuals may test themselves, you may help them test themselves, or you may
test them yourself.
There are four muscle testing techniques which
Essenes use for this purpose. These techniques are variously known as:
-
Looped fingers technique
-
Rubbing fingers technique
-
Hand clasp technique
-
Stiff arm technique
Individuals may use the looped fingers, rubbing
fingers and hand clasp technique by themselves. A second party is
required to use the stiff arm technique.
All four of these techniques work by allowing the
conscious mind to become distracted by what you're doing and allow your
subconscious mind to take control of your fingers, hands or arm - whichever is
being used. We distract the conscious mind by concentrating on our
question and not the answer to the question.
We ask simple yes-no questions. We concentrate
on the question while we apply the technique. Then we observe the answer
our subconscious mind is giving us. The more we keep our our thoughts and
ideas out of the process, the more reliable the answer to our question will be.
All four techniques may be
used with a pendulum without affecting the outcome of the technique. We
can use the pendulum to verify the answer is from our subconscious mind.
We can use the pendulum to replace muscle testing. We can use the pendulum
to verify the answers our client is receiving are correct.
The Pendulum in Essene Healing
LOOPED FINGER TECHNIQUE
The Modern Essene Fellowshiprecommends you learn
this technique first whether you plan to use it or not. The teaching for
this technique applies to all of the other Essene Kinesiology techniques to
be discussed. If you're not going to use this technique, please read
through it anyway as everything discussed also applies to the other
techniques.
Looped Finger Technique
RUBBING FINGERS TECHNIQUE
The Rubbing Fingers technique can be used anyplace
where you really don't want people to know what you're doing. It's very
effective and the answers one receives are just as valid as for any other
muscle-testing method. It's an unobtrusive, non-invasive, easy to use
and easy to hide technique.
Rubbing Finger Technique
CLASPED HAND TECHNIQUE
The Clasped Hand technique as used by the Modern Essene Fellowshipis very similar to the Looped Finger technique. The
teaching materials for the Looped Finger technique should be read and
practiced first, as the same procedure applies to the Clasped Hand technique.
Clasped Hand Technique
STIFF ARM TECHNIQUE
The Stiff Arm technique of Essene Kinesiology is
most commonly used by an Essene Kinesiologist on another person. The
technique is used with people who are not confident in their own ability to
perform either the Clasped Hands or Looped Finger technique for themselves.
As with the other techniques, another body part that can be held rigid may be
used.

FALSE POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES
False positives do occur. We obtain a "yes"
answer and learn later the answer really should have been "no." When this
happens, look first to see if you learned anything about yourself or others.
If you did, you received the correct answer for you at that time because you had
a lesson to learn.
Secondly, look to see if somebody or something else
learned something or if their needs were met because of you. If that
happened, you received the correct answer for you at that time because you had
to rectify some previous wrong or help a person in need.
False negatives also occur. We obtain a "no"
answer and learn later the correct answer was "yes." When this happens,
apply the same two tests given above.
There are also times where our subconscious mind
misunderstood the question or when the answer is uncertain and our conscious
mind steps in to make the decision. Half the time our conscious mind gets
it right. It's always a 50-50 proposition - guess yes or guess no.
Half the time we guess right. Half the time we don't.
